The Foundation is a non-profit entity based in Tema in the Greater Accra Region that champions the campaign against environmental issues, climate change and water management.

The launch follows a six-kilometer health walk through the principal streets of Accra as part of activities to mark the hall year long programme.

The Union’s appeal is contained in a May Day statement and signed by its General Secretary, Mr J.J. Jebuni.

She observed that the region had great potentials to move forward politically, socially and economically, adding “But that would depend on our concerted positive attitude to work to bring the desired results.”
