Accra , April 9, GNA - A 10-member Steering Committee to oversee the building of a 600-bed Teaching Hospital facility for the College of Health Sciences of the University of Ghana was on Thursday inaugurated in Accra.

A press statement issued to Ghana News Agency on Monday said it was important that National Labour Commission and Fair Wages and Salary Commission were allowed to work independently to enable them perform their duties diligently.

The DCE said that the directives will give the students who will be writing examination conducive atmosphere under which they could write the examination.

She tasked all heads of the Directorate in all health institutions to ensure that various units in the hospitals had emergency services available to all clients including maternity.

Both health service providers have are attending only in patients and would withdraw services entirely by April 15 if their grievances are not fully met.
