Cape Coast, Jan. 15, GNA – Dr Sam Jonah, Chancellor of the University of Cape Coast (UCC), said on Tuesday that there was the growing need for the country’s universities to be more focused and results-oriented.

He pleaded guilty and told the court that his act was influenced by alcohol as he was drunk.

The decision was arrived at, after a crisis meeting between members of the Association and members of the team on Tuesday, January 15, at the Accra Sports Stadium.

As part of the programme, the assembly had established three sanitation courts in Ablekuma Central, Okaikoi North and La Dadekotopon.

The two pleaded not guilty and the case had been adjourned till Monday, January 28.
