The adhoc committee set up by the Speaker of Parliament and chaired by Mr Joe Ghartey Committee, to investigate the recent bribery allegations in Parliament on Thursday made known its findings and recommendations. In a 50-page document, the committee concluded that the Member of Parliament for Bawku Central, Mr Mahama Ayariga who made the allegation was guilty of contempt of Parliament and subsequently asked that he should be made to apologise to Parliament.

The Ghana Triathlon Federation (GTF), has secured a four year sponsorship deal worth $200,000 from Kempinski Hotel and Promasidor Ghana Limited, to support their activities and the administration of the Federation. Ghana lost an estimated GH¢43 million in 2014 as a result of fraudulent practices in the petroleum sector, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO)?of the National Petroleum Authority (NPA), Mr Alhassan Tampuli, has disclosed.
