[Daily Observer]The Gambia's Metro Security Service has bagged an award for its commitment to the promotion and development of peace and stability in the West African sub- region. The award was endowed on the security firm on 30th October 2012 by the African Leadership Magazine based in Nigeria at the Magazine's second annual West African Security and Safety awards dinner held in the Ghanaian capital, Accra.

[AEP]The Institute of Economic Affairs has postponed the second presidential debate on request by President John Dramani Mahama. This follows the five-day national mourning of the late Vice President Alhaji Aliu Mahama declared by the president.
