“I have been in Parliament with Agalga. He came to meet me in Parliament and he’s a very tough legislator. He’s very good at the work he does,” Mr. Nitiwul said.

“If it was transmitted to the President, then the President is enjoined by law to sign it. If he doesn’t want to sign it, he needs to have written to Parliament with his comments,” Mr. Nitiwul said.

Mr. Kpebu stressed that his position was an analysis of developments surrounding the bill and not a confirmed explanation from the government or governing NDC.
