‘Beast of no Nation’ star, Emmanuel Adom Quaye popularly known as ‘Strika’ has made an official complaint to the Greater Accra Region Command.
The child star is accusing his handlers namely Kobina Sam and Kofi Robert of denying him access to monies paid him by Netflix for his role in ‘Beast of no Nation’.
According to Strika, an amount of $30,000 was transferred by Netflix into an account held in trust for him by Mr Robert.
The account was to be handed over to him when he is 18 but Strika who is now 19 years now is yet to be given access to his account at Barclays.
Mr Robert who claims to have been a coach on the set of the movie, Beast of no Nation was invited by the police on Friday.
After writing his statement, the police ordered that he presents a detailed statement of the account he held in trust for Strika and also to transfer the account into the name of the actor.
The suspect is to return with the statement on Monday as evidence before further interrogation will be done.
Kobina Sam, one-time guardian of Strika has also been invited for further questioning on the whereabouts of a car, the actor claims was in his possession.
Mr Sam and Mr Robert, according to Strika withdrew close to ¢40,000 of his money to purchase a commercial vehicle as an investment but the proceeds and the car are nowhere to be found.
