Hearts of Oak coach, Aboubakar Ouattara, is confident the Phobians are capable of achieving something great, with 20 games to end the current season.
Hearts of Oak returned to winning ways after their Super Clash defeat to Kotoko on Sunday as they beat Berekum Chelsea 3-1 on Friday night.
“Berekum Chelsea have a good team but we managed to get the three points today. And this team, I told you when they scored a goal, we started suffering small, small, but we made some changes to bring some vitality to continue,” he said.
“But we thank the fans who came here today to follow the team. The league, now we have 20 matches to play, let us stick to our chances; we have a big dream. If the dream is coming into reality, we take it. If it is not coming we are going home,” he added
Ouattara’s belief that Hearts can achieve something significant is not wide off the mark as the Phobians are two points behind league leaders Heart of Lions.
The coach, in previous weeks, spoke on how he plans to win the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League.
Hearts of Oak last won the league in the 2020/21 season and could rekindle their title aspirations when they take on struggling Accra Lions on Christmas day.
