The Minister of Finance Dr Mohammed Amin Adam has explained that Artificial intelligence (AI) is forecast to contribute up to US$15.7 trillion to the global economy by 2030, of which US$1.2 trillion could be generated in Africa, thereby making AI one of the biggest economic opportunities available to our Continent.
He said that Ghanaian authorities intend to leverage AI technologies to harness the ingenuity and talents of our people.
This, he said, would help build a self-sufficient, safe, and prosperous society capable of delivering jobs and a dignified future for our people.
