Popular Nigerian comedian-turned-musician, Nasboi, has revealed that he would prioritise wealth over fame if given another chance in life. The entertainer made the statement on Sunday while discussing his long-term plans, expressing regret over choosing fame above financial stability.
In a post shared on X, Nasboi admitted that the demands and stress that come with being a public figure have taken a toll on him. According to him, the pressures of fame have overshadowed its perceived benefits.
The singer stated that if he had the opportunity to relive his life, he would opt for financial comfort rather than celebrity status.
“I will choose to have money over being famous. I no fit try this kind of thing for my next life again,” he wrote.
Nasboi also hinted at his desire to step away from the entertainment industry entirely once he attains his financial target. He disclosed that he intends to retire from skit-making, music and acting once he reaches a net worth of ?5 billion.
“Once my money completes 5 billion, I don disembark. I no do again. No skit, no music, and no acting. Make the brain rest,” he added.
