The Ghana Medical Association (GMA) has suggested to the government to increase funding for the health sector to avoid ‘no bed syndrome’ in the various hospitals.
It further suggested training for emergency health personnel and that the ministry of health should expand emergency services.
The GMA in a statement believes these measures if put in place by the government will help improve emergency health care in the country
The advise comes on the back of an aged man who died due to lack of bed in seven hospitals he visited.
