The Deputy Special Prosecutor nominee Cynthia Lamptey has disclosed that she heard her appointment on air.
According to her, there was no consultation before her nomination.
Revealing this during her vetting by the Parliament’s Appointments Committee on Wednesday, she said, ‘I was there and I heard my name blaring on air as a nominee and I had to accept it’.
She said she will resign if she’s being used as a puppet by her boss Martin Amidu.
‘If I feel sidelined at my duty, I would resign because I cannot be a puppet at the department,’ she stated.
