The President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has expressed worry about the recent spate of road accidents and ensuing deaths in the country.
He tasked the Ministers for the Interior, Roads and Highways, and Transport to come out with proposals immediately to curb the situation.
‘I am very concerned about the recent spate of road accidents, and the ensuing deaths and injuries. I have asked the Ministers for the Interior, Roads and Highways, and Transport to meet and come out with proposals immediately, to address this critical issue in order to improve the safety of our roads,’ the President tweeted.
There have been reported cases of road accidents in the country, the recent being that of dancehall diva Ebony Reigns who died in a car crash.
