New Patriotic Party (NPP) firebrand Kennedy Ohene Agyepong, is alleging that Dr. Stephen Kwabena Opuni, Chief Executive of Ghana Cocoa Board (COCOBOD) in less than a year in office has employed over 1,200 persons mostly foot soldiers of the ruling  National Democratic Congress (NDC).

He added that temporal staff of COCOBOD whose appointments were supposed to regularize were sacked in order to create the opportunity to recruit party boys who have since been employed and have no specific work to do despite being appointed to sensitive positions.

“This is just job for the boys. He sacked all the temporal workers and is employing party boys who have no work to do. Some of the temporal staff had worked for more 7 years but he sacked all of them”, he alleged.

According to the Assin Central Constituency lawmaker, he will in the coming days expose the COCOBOD boss he alleged is superintending over corrupt deals since he assumed his current position a year ago.

To this end, he claimed he is not surprised Dr Opuni last Tuesday December 13, 2016 at about 1am, started shredding vital documents to conceal alleged fishy deals which he believes will get him exposed.

“Opuni went to his office on Tuesday at 1am and started shredding documents. He again went there on Wednesday at 2am to do the same thing and I will expose him”, he assured.

The maverick politician said Dr Stephen Opuni has close to over 41 points including the processes in the awards of contracts and renovation works to answer.
