Mali's gold revenues rise 23 pct in 2017
BAMAKO, May 18 (Reuters) - * State revenues from Mali's gold
production rose 23 percent in 2017 to 304.5 billion CFA francs
($532 million), the mines ministry said on Friday.
* The increase was due to a rise in gold output and prices.
Mining companies in Mali produced 49.6 tonnes of gold in 2017,
up from 46.9 tonnes in 2016.
* Gold producers that have operations in Mali include Randgold
Resources and AngloGold Ashanti.
