UPDATE 1-Ghana February producer price inflation falls to 5.5 pct
ACCRA, March 28 (Reuters) - Ghana's producer price inflation
(PPI) fell to 5.5 percent year-on-year in February
from 7.7 percent the previous month, due mostly to lower refined
petroleum costs, the statistics office said on Wednesday.
The cocoa, oil and gold exporter is in its final year of a
$918 million credit programme with the International Monetary
Fund that aims to narrow consumer inflation to 8 percent, plus
or minus 2 percentage points, this year.
