A video of Pastor Alph Lukau, founder and General Overseer of Alleluia Ministries International based in South Africa entering his church has got many people talking and wondering whether contemporary Christians are worshipping their pastors rather than God.

In the viral video that was reportedly uploaded on the pastor’s own YouTube channel, he is seen entering the church apparently to preach in a presidential-style.

Aside that, Ushers were also seen lined up on the streets, while some church leaders waited at the venue filled to capacity by thousands of people just to welcome the ‘man of God’, according to Africanspotlight.com.

The outrageous display of affluence by the pastor, though not unprecedented per se, has sparked mixed reactions on social media.

While some criticize the extravagant lifestyles by pastors at the expense of their poor church members, others are of the view that men of God must display the glory of God to the world.
