Asante Kotoko came from a goal down to draw against Ashanti Gold, while Medeama suffered a 1-2 defeat to Liberty professionals on match day 27 of the Ghana Premier League on Thursday.
Ashanti Gold took the lead at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium, Kumasi in the 45th minute, but a controversial penalty awarded to kotoko in the 80 minute and converted by Saddick Adams drew the hosts Kotoko level.
The talking point of the game was the penalty awarded by Prosper Addy in favour of Kotoko, since the spectators saw no need for such a call by the referee.
