Allegations: I still believe Nana Addo smokes 'wee' - Asiedu Nketia

According to Asiedu Nketia, Nana Akufo-Addo did not just smoke a lot of the illegal herb, but smoke early to get high always.

From the lenses of reports by Wikileaks in 2011, the General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Johnson Asiedu Nketia has said he still believes President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo smokes marijuana.

According to him, Nana Akufo-Addo did not just smoke a lot of the illegal herb, but smoke early to get high always.

His comments comes at the back of an NDC radio serial caller and sympathizer of the NDC, Frank Appiah, popularly known as Appiah Stadium who has alleged that Nana Addo is a drug addict.

Appiah Stadium said he would have wrapped a substance, puffed the smoke through his nostrils to show that President Akufo-Addo smokes if he had had the opportunity.

He alleged that "It is sad I was denied a visa, I would have wrapped a substance and smoked in front of the president and his entourage and show them that he smokes."

But Asiedu Nketia in an interview on Accra-based Adom FM said Appiah Stadium is speaking the truth that Nana Addo smokes.

"Akufo-Addo has not cleared himself after Wikileaks said he smokes wee so I believe," he said.

 

He added that "The NPP repealed the Criminal Libel Law so everyone is at liberty to speak his mind and make any allegation against anyone so Appiah Stadium has not done anything wrong to warrant an invitation from the National Security."
