A man has been killed by penis enlargement surgery in Sweden.
The 30-year-old had wanted to increase both the girth and length of his genitals using a process where fat is transferred from his stomach.
He, however, had a heart attack in the course of the surgery and died as a result.
How did it happen?
According to the Journal of Forensic Sciences, plastic surgeons first carried out the elongation, which requires making an incision to loosen a ligament at the base of the penis.

They subsequently started the enlargement and had planned to inject two fluid ounces of fat cells.
However, before the injection, the unfortunate occurred. The man’s heart began racing, his oxygen levels fell, and his blood pressure dropped. He then suffered a heart attack.
Doctors performed CPR and sent him to an emergency room, but he died less than two hours later.

The authors of the report stated that the man died from a fat embolism.
This is where fat tissue passes into the bloodstream and lodges within the blood vessels of the lung and other sites, resulting in respiratory failure.
The man happens to be the first person being killed from penis enlargement.
Experts have often warned that the procedure could cause disfigurement, scarring, and infection.
