
Real Madrid have finally reached an agreement with Monaco for Kylian Mbappe, according to reports in Spain.
Real Madrid have reportedly agreed a deal to sign AS Monaco striker Kylian Mbappe for a new world-record sum of €180 million (£161 million). However, Monaco are said to have denied any agreement is in place.
Carlos Carpio of Spanish newspaper Marca reported Los Blancos will pay Monaco €160 million up front with another €20 million in add-ons. It's reported Mbappe, 18, will sign a six-year contract at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu worth €135,000 per week.
Not long after reports of an agreement emerged on Tuesday, Get French Football sourced a report from French newspaper Nice-Matin, which said Monaco have already dismissed the claims:
