Massachusetts State Police said the injuries were of "varying severity."
Several people were injured in Boston on Monday when a taxi driver lost control of his vehicle and crashed into a group of pedestrians, local media are reporting.
The Boston Globe reported at least 10 people were injured in the incident, which occurred near a Logan International Airport taxi pool in East Boston just west of the airport. Massachusetts State Police said the injuries were of "varying severity."
Victims are being sent to various hospitals in the area. Rescuers could be seen loading at least one person into a stretcher, according to the Associated Press.
Boston police, fire firefighters, and emergency personnel are on the scene, state police said.
A Globe cited a law enforcement who said the incident does not appear related to terrorism, and other officials do not believe the crash was intentional. Some outlets are reporting the driver may have mistaken the car's brake for the gas pedal.
The driver, a 56-year-old man, is cooperating with investigators, a CBS affiliate reported.
