The last's semi-finalists booked a place in the quarter-finals of the ongoing Science and Maths quiz after a landslide victory against St Paul's SHS and SIMMS SHS.
Kumasi High School will face Wesley Girls High School and T.I Amass, Fomena in the quarter-finals of the Science and Maths quiz, after beating off competition from Paul's SHS and SIMMS SHS in the one-eighth stage of the competition on Monday.
Kumasi High School who reached the semi-finals last year had a comfortable victory amassing 49 points against 26 by St. Paul's SHS and 15 by SIMMS SHS.
They will be taking on Wesley Girls High School and T.I Amass, Fomena who have also qualified for the quarter finals of the competition.
27 schools are expected to qualify to the quarter finals of the 2017 NSMQ.
However, Archbishop Porter Girls’ SHS, Aburi Girls’ SHS and Ghana National College, Tamale SHS, KNUST SHS, University Practice, Takoradi SHS, New Juaben SHS and Adisadel College will clash in the quarter finals.
