The opposition National Democratic Congress has received the 455-page report from the Kwesi Botchwey-led committee which was tasked to investigate the party’s defeat in the 2016 election.

Prof Botchwey said that the 455-page document contains details of what led to the defeat of the NDC.
The committee’s responsibility was to among other things make recommendations for the restructuring and reorganisation of the party to position it for the next general election in 2020.
During its work, the committee toured the country and met with the party’s grassroots and other groups to seek information about the 2016 elections and what could be done on the way forward.
It was supposed to present its findings at an earlier date was unable to due to some internal issues it had to settle.
