The Liberty Professional skipper could be handed his Black Stars debut when Ghana face Ethiopia on Sunday in Kumasi.
Samuel Sarfo who was once a body guard of the Black Stars is now a member of the playing body of the team as they prepare for an African Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier against Ethiopia.
As a corporal in the Ghana Police Service Sarfo was one of the policemen who were mostly detailed to guard the Black Stars and ensured their safety of the team.
The Liberty Professionals skipper took advantage of that to pose for a photo with Emmanuel Agyemang Badu during a Black Stars game.
Samuel Sarfo who was then a professional footballer aside his security work and aimed at becoming a member of the senior male national football team of Ghana in the future.
And fate has smiled on Sarfo and today he has the opportunity to play together with the very people he once guarded and eyed to be like them.
TV3 has done a documentary regarding how Samuel Sarfo once a bodyguard of the Black Stars managed to become a member of the team.
