Gyampana is a final year student of the Kumasi Senior High Technical School and has already begun designing models of buildings.
When Edward Gyampana was a primary school boy in Class two, he used to gather paper, super glue, plastics, and his mother’s broom sticks to make creative designs.
Even at that tender age, Gyampana had already found his love for art.
He is now a final year student of the Kumasi Senior High Technical School and has already begun designing models of buildings.
His mother, however, had doubts about the career path his son had chosen.
She told Pulse.com.gh that she used to have petty arguments with her son about the situation.
“I always told him to take his studies more serious than the art...I used to fight him for taking my broom sticks for the creative design,” she noted.
On his part, the Assistant headmaster of the school, Emmanuel Amoateng, described Gyampana as a “real talent.”
Gyampana says his dream is to become an architect or a structural engineer. He, however, needs financial assistance to be able to make his dream a reality.
“I would be very happy if someone could financially support me for my dream to become a reality,” he said.
