Asante Kotoko extended their winless streak to six games after they drew 1-1 against Aduana Stars on match day 13 at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Wednesday.
Zakaria Mumuni finished off perfectly from Daniel Darkwa’s through ball to give Aduana Stars the lead in the first half.
Kwame Boateng was presented with an opportunity to put Kotoko level, after the centre referee awarded them a penalty, yet Kwame Boateng wasted the spot kick
And the Dormaa boys who dominated play in the first half should have have doubled the score line, but Nathaniel Aasamoah wasted a one on one with goalkeeper Felix Annan.
Asante Kotoko pilled pressure on Aduana Stars in the early stage of the game and got the equaliser through substitute Abass Mohammed.
The 23 times champions controlled the game in the second half, however, they couldn’t let their dominance count, as Aduana Stars managed to walk away with a point.
Asante Kotoko have been winless since match day 8 defeat against Hearts of Oak.
