The Accra International Book Festival (AIBF) has launched the Dream Project aimed at listening to the ideas of people about themselves and their communities.
The year-long programme would afford authors and other influential persons in society the opportunity to interact with students.
The AIBF Dream Project would start in February this year.
The Festival in a statement on Monday said the project forms part of a detail plan to bring its activities closer to its audience.
“We want to tap into the favourites and passion of our audience and more especially to listen to their dreams about themselves,” the AIBF said.
Phase one of the programme focuses on some selected junior and senior high schools in the Greater Accra and Central Regions.
“In all, over twenty schools are expected to be covered under the first phase of the Dream Project,” the statement said.
At least over thirty resource persons, including authors, musicians and politicians are expected to work alongside the Book Festival on the project.
