Some school children have been left trapped in their homes after spilled waters from the Weija dam took over their homes.
Parents had to ferry their children on their backs across the knee-level flooded area, to school.
The Ghana Water Company Limited on Sunday spilled excess water from the dam after several warnings to residents to vacate the Weija-down area.
The residents, however, feel relocating their homes will not solve the problem instead GCWL should construct storm drains to direct the path of the water.
