Ace broadcaster, Israel Laryea, has expressed his admiration for Sarkodie’s freestyle tune believed to be a ‘diss’ targeted at Shatta Wale.
Social media went abuzz after Sarkodie released a video titled ‘My Advice’ on Wednesday in which he jabbed the dancehall artiste.
The JoyNews Prime News Anchor openly confessed his appreciation of the rapper’s lyrical dexterity in the freestyle.
During the showbiz segment with MzGee, Israel Laryea got off his seat and knelt to show admiration.
In the video, the rapper described Shatta Wale as an insecure attention seeker.
Sarkodie questioned the dancehall artiste’s claim to wealth and asked him to stop wearing cheap jewellery.
‘Advice’ comes after Shatta Wale in an interview on Luv FM said that artistes such as Kwaw Kese and Sarkodie are wallowing in poverty.
Shatta Wale went on further to disrespect fans of Sarkodie in a series of tweets.
The rapper called Shatta Wale a fool in the freestyle and alleged that the dancehall artiste is gay.
Sarkodie suggested that Shatta Wale had been overwhelmed by his fame but reminded him that his brand was not strong enough and thus he’ll soon be irrelevant in the music industry.
Israel Laryea after watching the video commented that he was impressed by Sarkodie’s ‘deep lyrics’.
