Hearts of Oak have reached a contractual agreement with Albanian side KF Tirana for the transfer of their attacking midfielder Winful Cobbinah.
According to Hearts the transfer of Cobbinah, 26, who is in his second stint at the club depends on him passing a medical when he travels to Tirana's base in Albania.
Hearts in a statement signed by Communications Manager, Kwame Opare Addo added that Cobbinah's sale is also subject to him successfully registering via the FIFA TMS system.
“The Management of Accra Hearts of Oak Sporting Club has successfully negotiated a transfer agreement for the talented midfielder Winful Cobbinah to join Albanian giants, KF Tirana,” the club announced in a statement Friday.
“The transfer is subject to the player passing a medical with his new club and properly registering via the Fifa TMS,” it added.
Early this year, Cobbinah was on the verge of joining Danish second-tier side Viborg FF but the move collapsed at the dying embers of negotiation.
He was a key member of the Black Stars B side that clinched the 2017 WAFU Cup.
Also, Vincent Atinga has signed for the KF Tirana. The defender had been without a club since leaving Hearts of Oak after his contract expired at the end of the 2016/17 season.
