Dreams FC will look to continue with their impressive start to the season when they travel to face Hearts of Oak in Cape Coast.
The Dawu-based side have been on a roll this season and are yet to lose after three rounds of league action.
For Hearts of Oak, it has so far been an inconsistent campaign, punctuated with clashes between fans and management over the club’s choice of manager.
The Phobians had drawn one and lost the other, before finally recording their first win of the season after a 2-0 reverse at Ebusua Dwarfs in mid-week.
However, the Rainbow club would definitely be hoping to build on that momentum when the welcome Dreams to their adopted home ground, the Cape Coast stadium.
The Dawu-based side is one of just four clubs in the GPL that are yet to taste defeat this season, the others being Ashanti Gold, WAFA and Eleven Wonders.
Currently lying in the second position, Dreams have every right to feel optimistic going into the game against Hearts of Oak.
But, with the club having never beaten Hearts of Oak in a league game – in two matches Hearts have won one and drawn the other – a highly competitive game is expected on Sunday.
In spite of Hearts’ poor start to the season, the Phobians sit in 7th position, just three points behind 3rd placed Dreams and a win for Henry Wellington’s side would move them into the top four.
