GOIL, a leading oil marketing company in the country, has launched its ‘Efie ne Fie’ promotion to reward loyal customers of the company.
To participate in the promotion, customers who are using commercial or private vehicle must purchase GH?80.00 worth of fuel at any GOIL station across the country.
Those using motorbikes and tricycles must also purchase GH?50.00 after which they would be issued with a scratch card to enter the promotion.
The three-month promotion which started yesterday and would end in January 2019, is being conducted in partnership with adb, Roberts and Sons Limited, First Atlantic Bank, Alisa Hotels, Coconut Groove Hotels, Kalyppo, Fru Telli and Universal Engineering and Consultancy Services Limited.
Under the promotion more than 900,000 loyal customers of the company would receive daily prizes which could be redeemed within 48 hours and there would also be monthly prizes in which customers who accumulate more points would be rewarded.
Speaking at the launch in Accra yesterday, the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of GOIL, Alex Josiah Adzew said GOIL listed on the Ghana Stock Exchange with more than 16,000 local shareholders and over the years had worked hard to improve upon the quality of its products with the view to satisfying customers of the company.
He said for the third consecutive time, GOIL had been adjudged the best Petroleum Company of the Year by the Chartered Institute of Marketing.
The COO said the promotion was to recognise customers for their contribution to the development of the company.
“This award, we share with you our cherished customers. Today because of you our customers, we are still the number one amongst over 85 competing oil marketing companies. GOIL wants to share in our achievements by bringing more excitement to our values customer base,” he said.
Mr Adzew said more than 920,924 customers of the company would be rewarded with gift items such as free fuel, free servicing and airtime, stressing that there were more than one million items that will be given to customers.
The COO entreated drivers, customers and non customers to patronise the products of GOIL to enjoy quality products to service their cars.
The Head of Fuels Marketing Markus Theo Darkeh explaining the mechanics of the promotion said customers would be given a scratch card which has a code and had to text the PIN number free of charge to a short code to redeem their reward.
He said the promotion was opened to all the GOIL service stations across the country and any individual could participate in the promotion.
Brand Ambassador of GOIL, Azumah Nelson in his remarks said GOIL had quality fuel which protects the engine of vehicles.
He entreated drivers to patronise GOIL products since the company was an indigenous one and all the profit the company makes stayed in the Ghanaian economy.
