A delegation from the Mountcrest University College on Friday visited the family of the late former Supreme Court Judge, Professor Vincent Cyril Richard Arthur Charles Crabbe, to commiserate with them.
The delegation, led by the college’s Rector, Mr Kweku Ansa-Asare, presented assorted drinks and water to support the funeral of the renowned statesman, who, until his demise, was a lecturer at the college. The college also pledged to bear the cost of his casket.
Interacting with the family, Mr Ansa-Asare recounted that he received with shock the sudden death of the nonagenarian, whom he described as a hardworking, loving and caring person who did not discriminate against anybody.
He said the country had lost a legal colossus of whom it would take a long time to find a replica.
Prof. Crabbe, Mr Ansa-Asare said, trained and nurtured a lot of people including prominent lawyers and judges in the country.
Mr Richard Crabbe, on behalf of the family of the late Prof. Crabbe thanked them for the sympathy and told the delegation that the family would communicate details of the funeral to them when scheduled.
