Suspect Yussif Issaka
Accra District Magistrate Court has issued a warrant for the arrest of four persons, who allegedly conspired to murder a 31-year-old man, at Akweiteman Zongo, near Tesano in Accra.
They are Peter Yenzuah, alias Python, Yussif Issaka, alias Money maker, Baba Ali and one Dongreen.
The suspects were reported to have stabbed Foster Nsiah with knives during an argument and bolted, since September last year.
Chief Inspector David Fianko-Okyere at the Public Relations Department of the Criminal Investigation Department, Accra, made these known to the Ghanaian Times yesterday.
He said police received a complaint from the deceased’s brother (name withheld) that his brother Nsiah was stabbed to death by the suspects.
Chief Insp Fianko-Okyere said on September 27, last year, at Akweiteman Zongo, Ali had an argument with the deceased over European football match.
He said Yenzuah, Yussif and Dongreen armed with knives attacked the deceased and stabbed him and bolted.
Chief Inspector Fianko-Okyere said Nsiah was rushed to the Ridge Hospital by bystanders, but he was pronounced dead on arrival.
He said the case was under investigations, and urged the public to volunteer credible information that assist in the arrest of the suspects.
“The public with information on the suspects should contact the Homicide Unit and the Tesano police station,” Chief Insp Fianko-Okyere added.
