Africa Has Potential To Create $1 Trillion Food Market - World Bank
Africa?s farmers and agri-businesses can create a trillion-dollar food market by 2030 if they are able to expand their access to more capital, electricity, better technology and irrigated land to grow high-value nutritious foods, a new World Bank report has said.
The report called on African governments to work side-by-side with agri-businesses to link farmers with consumers in an increasingly urbanized Africa.
