E-Watse Growing About 20 Per Cent In Ghana Each Year- Mrs Andoh
Recycling hundred per cent of the metal obtained from ore can reduce environmental load to one three-hundredth the load created by mining, Mrs Ama Ampoma Andoh, Member for Juaben, said on Friday.
Mrs Andoh who said this in a statement read on the floor of Parliament noted that around 10 tons of ore are needed to make a gold ring that weights 10 grams, but only 0.037 tons are needed if the gold from cell phones is recycled.
