Royal Galaxy School at Newman Estate, Dunkwa -on-Offin has presented hospital equipment worth several thousands of cedis to the Dunkwa Government Hospital.
The equipment, which includes wheel chairs, drip stands, disposal gowns, delivery mat and surgical materials were presented on behalf of the school by the proprietress, Miss Gifty Tiwaa Boadi.
She stated that the equipment was procured by the kind courtesy of Mission 195, an NGO in the U.S.
Miss TiwaaBoadi was hopeful that the equipment would support quality healthcare delivery in the Upper Denkyira East Municipal. The proprietress noted that this is the second presentation by the school to the hospital, having given hand hygiene equipment and materials on the occasion of World Chocolate Day on February 14, 2019.
Dr. Benjamin Annan, Medical Superintendent of the hospital who received the equipment thanked the management and staff of Royal Galaxy School for the donation.
He mentioned that staff accommodation, X-ray machine and replacement of old hospital cars are the main challenges facing the hospital and appealed for support from individuals and well meaning Ghanaians to address them.
