Rosemond Brown, popularly known in showbizcircles as Akuapem Poloo, yesterday shed tears after she was convicted by an Accra Circuit Court.
Akuapem Poloo, who often refers to herself as a “drama queen”,was convicted for posting a naked picture of herself and her seven years old son on social media.
The court was presided over by Her Honour Christina Cann,who convicted Akuapem Poloo on her own plea of being guilty to all the charges, that is, publication of obscene materialand domestic violence levelled against.
The court deferred the sentence on the order that Akuapem Poloo should take a pregnancy test.
Sobbing in her black caftan dress, with headgear and nose mask to match, Akuapem Poloo was ordered to reappear on Friday, April 16, 2021 for her sentencing.

On June 30, 2020, Rosemond Brown, while celebrating her son’s seventh birthday posted the said picture with the message;
“Son today reminds me of the very day I gave birth to you with no stress and with no regret…30th June 2013, exactly 4:45 am Sunday.
“Haha I still remember this date paa because it really meant a lots to me. I only felt the 30 minutes pain when you were soo good to me. I gave birth with no complications, no cut, [and] no disability. Haha I love you son.
“You see how you are looking at me, always remember that I love you. I’m naked in front of you because this is how naked I was giving birth to you. Son in case you find me naked lying down somewhere don’t pass by me but rather see me as your mom who brought you to this life”.
She posted the the message and pictures on her Instagram page which went viral on social media. The pictures attracted mixed reaction from Ghanaians.
