The Asokwa Divisional Police Command has arrested a Nigerian sex worker over the demise of her client at Asafo BB, near the Neoplan station in the Kumasi Metropolis.
The police have arrested ten other Nigerian sex workers in an attempt to establish the circumstances which led to the demise of the man who was lying in a pool of blood when police picked up his lifeless body and sent it to the morgue.
Supt. Christopher Owusu Mpianin, the Asokwa District Police Commander told The Chronicle that the incident happened around 02:00 am on Sunday, this week.
According to him, information available to the command has it that, the deceased went to a brothel facility, known as Anidasour Hotel, a one storey-building, to patronise the service of a sex worker, who is a Nigerian.
According to Commander Mpianin, the sex worker alleged that during the sexual intercourse, the deceased held her neck, threatening to kill her. The development led to a struggle between the two.
He said investigation is underway to establish how the man died, whether he fell from the storey building or what really occurred to him.
He noted that a rickshaw, popularly known as Mahama Camboo, was also parked at the scene and that they have written to Drivers and Vehicle Licensing Authority (DVLA) to find out about the owner of the Mahama Camboo.
Supt Christopher Owusu Mpianin appealed to the media to inform the masses about the demise for his family to come and identify him.
