Sixteen more patients have recovered from the novel coronavirus in Ghana, bringing the total recoveries to ninety nine (99).
The new development was published on the website of the Ghana Health Service, which has been updating the public on the situation in the country.
These recoveries are from the routine surveillance instituted by the government’s response team, through which some three hundred and forty-six (346) cases have been confirmed.
Aside from the 99 who have recovered so far, two hundred and thirty-four (234), are responding to treatment, four (4) are in critical/moderately ill, as the authorities put it, but unfortunately, nine (9) have died.
