The Asogli Queen mothers have step up their activities to help improve on healthcare delivery in Ho.
The Queen Mothers have donated two dialysis chairs to the Regional Hospital to aid the facility in providing quality care to patients who are admitted at the hospital to feel more comfortable.
The items, which cost GHC6,000 and formed part of the core mandate of the Queen mothers to help promote rapid development in society was supported by Glory Oil and the Ho Municipal Assembly.
Presenting the items to the hospital, the Queen Mother of Ho- Dome, Mama Atrato III said the Asogli Queen Mothers were making frantic efforts to help improve upon quality health delivery in the area, hence the presentation.
Mama Atrato asked the youth to strictly adhere to medical advice from health authorities which would enable them to lead healthy life styles pointing out the need to distant themselves from drug abuse and other negative practices likely to affect their health.
The Ho -Dome Queenmother stressed that it was important for the youth to stay healthy to enable them to contribute meaningfully to nation building and advised them to support the new government led by Nana Akufo Addo to succeed by contributing their quota to national development.
Mama Atrato observed that it was only when the people are in good health that they would be able to contribute meaningfully towards development. It is based on this that the Asogli Queen mothers have over the years been helping to promote health delivery in the area.
She noted that the lukewarm attitude among the youth towards developing themselves should stop and urged them to take the issues of education more seriously. She charged particularly the girls not to fall victim to teenage pregnancy but make conscious efforts to take advantage of the University of Health and Allied Sciences (UHAS) to upgrade their knowledge.
Receiving the items on behalf of the hospital management, Dr. Lord Mensah commended the Asogli Queen Mothers for the gesture noting that the items would go a long way to promote quality health delivery at the hospital and urged other organizations to emulate them.
