John Mawuli Nyarko from the Centre of the
World Golf Club and Stephen Kwame Klah of the Achimota Golf Club are contesting for the Captaincy position.
Lucky Annan Ayisah of the Achimota Golf Club and Kojo Barnni of the Tarkwa Golf Club are jostling for the Vice-Captain position.
Incumbent Akwesi Prempeh of Damang Golf Club who is seeking re-election for the Tournament Director position will meet fierce competition from Baba Akologo from the Centre of the World Golf Club, formerly known as Tema Country Golf Club.
The Deputy Tournament Director position will be contested for, by Prince Quaning Amponsah of the Obuasi Golf Club and Anthony Gbenyo of the Achimota Golf Club.
Duada Mahama will face it off with Godwin Sai all from the Achimota Golf Club for the Treasurer position.
Speaking to the Power Sports Editor, PGA Vice Captain, Eric Henaku highlighted why he is not contesting for any position this time around.
"I came to serve and I have served PGA for the past thirteen years, so I have to rest for some time," he noted.
He added, "I came as the Secretary of the Association and we put the right measures in place by fixing the constitution that helped us appoint a substantive Secretary who is a non-playing member. We have organized a lot of tournaments, so we are hoping for the best in future."
An existing official whose name is missing from the contest is the incumbent Treasurer, Mr Ernest Opoku.
