On Tuesday, the Executive Council of the GFA annulled the current football season following a marathon meeting because of the Coronavirus pandemic.
The governing football body decided that no team will be relegated or promoted.
They also named AshantiGold and Asante Kotoko as representatives for the continental competitions.
"When you listen carefully to the president, Nana Akuffo-Addo you could see clearly that football is not going to resume anytime soon. So I wasn’t surprised when GFA cancelled the season," he said on Bryt FM.
"We should ask ourselves if we can emulate the Europeans who have restart their season. Can we go by their measure in Ghana, these are some of the questions we should ask ourselves.
"So I think it cancelling the season is in the right direction because human lives matter," he concluded.
Aduana Stars were on top of the table with 28 points after 15 matches played before the competition was cancelled. Read Full Story
