CAF has written to all its Member Association to ascertain whether the various leagues will end or continue, so it can also plan its inter-club competitions.
Ghana and the other Member Associations have been given up to May 5, 2020 to respond to the letter from CAF.
According to Fred Pappoe, CAF’s notice indirectly means the current leagues must be cancelled because the date to respond is too short for the Members Associations including the Ghana FA.
“The directive from CAF is not right. It seems they want all the Member Associations to stop their leagues by then”, he told Happy FM.
“They should get back to CAF and tell them its too early to decide whether the league will continue or not”, he added.
Football activities in the country have been suspended due to the coronavirus outbreak in the country.
