Mr Daniel Alegbe is appealing to the Acting Inspector General of Police (IGP), James Oppong-Boanuh to tamper justice with mercy and recall them.
General Sergeant Patrick Amoako and General Lance Corporal Isaac Marfo have been interdicted after they were captured on tape assaulting a suspect for allegedly stealing GH¢1,600.00 from his employer.
The suspect, identified as Dodzi, was handcuffed and whipped with bicycle tyres to force him to admit to the crime.
This barbaric act caught the attention of the police hierarchy who has since taken disciplinary action against the junior rank officers.
But, Mr Alegbe on Adom FM’s morning show, Dwaso Nsem, Wednesday said to err is human.
“I’m happy the police officers have been interdicted but I will plead with the IGP to recall them because there are no jobs,” he bemoaned.
Thought they have been invited to the Eastern Regional Police Command, Mr Alegbe said what is paramount to him is the welfare of his son.
“My son is still complaining of body pains and I will send him back to the hospital for check up; I suspect he may have suffered internal bleeding,” he added.
