AK Songstress addresses critics of her VGMA nomination

Paradise Entertainment signed dancehall and reggae artiste AK Songstress has revealed that she was mad and angry at some people when they critiqued her nomination in the 20th edition of the Vodafone Music Awards some weeks ago.

She made an appearance on Showbiz Agenda on Zylofon 102.1FM hosted by Sammy Flex and in the process made some serious revelations about her career.

AK Songstress disclosed the number of shows and songs she put out in the year under review adding that the industry is just men bias because none has shown any support to her career so far.

“I am encouraging people in the showbiz industry to pay attention to us and they will understand why we are doing better than most of the men. In fact, i was very mad when i heard and read that some people said i did not deserve the nomination. They should wait for me to win and they can burn the sea afterwards” she added.

AK also talked about how she will not play free shows just for promotional purposes and collaborations with both local and international artistes.
