Artistes billed to rock the event are Pat Thomas, Kuame Eugene, Kidi, Adina, Tic, Amy Newman, Bessa Simons and a host of others.
This year’s event, which is the sixth edition since the Obour-led administration came into office, will be headlined by Daddy Lumba and Pat Thomas.
President of MUSIGA, Bice Osei Kuffour, told BEATWAVES that the MUSIGA Grand Ball is an annual fundraising event aimed at raising funds to support some of the projects being undertaken by MUSIGA.
He added that this year’s event is in aid of the Ageing Musicians Welfare Fund (AMWeF).
As part of this year’s event, Obour revealed that a number of individuals and institutions will be honoured for their meritorious contribution to the development of the music industry in Ghana.
This year’s MUSIGA Grand Ball is also focusing on promoting relationships amongst corporate organisations and creative arts stakeholders by giving them the platform to share ideas amidst a soothing ambiance.
At least 100 corporate organisations and 200 stakeholders playing various roles in the creative industry, ministers of state and other celebrities are expected to attend the event.
Guests will be treated to good live band music.
