The Ghanaian left-footed player was given six marks for his performance on the night by Sempreinter.com, an independent news page dedicated entirely to FC Inter Milan.
Accompanying the nimble-footed player’s performance on the night was a description stating how resolute Asamoah was at the rear and his contribution on the flanks to support the attackers.
“Rock solid in defence, also helped by their poor attacking movement. Kwadwo also made quite a few forays forward and played some good balls”, it stated.
The high performer on the night was Lautaro Martinez who scored seven points for his exceptional contribution toward the team’s win.
He was said to be a pillar in the team who started slowly but exerted himself into the game once he fully warmed himself up along the way.
“With all that is going around him, this was a fantastic performance. Yes he took 15-20 minutes to start up but when he did he was quite a handful”, the news page said about Lautaro.
Samir Handanovic, Stefan de Vrij, Joao Miranda and Matias Vecino all scored 6.5 for their performance while Borja Valero and Asamoah were the only players to have scored six marks.
