He has however promised to incite some traditional priests in his hometown to petition President Akufo-Addo to construct a national shrine for them.
According to him, there was nothing he could do following the ruling, he will also lead a campaign to get a national shrine built for traditional priests.
Mr Bomfeh filed a suit at the apex court to prevent government from partaking in the construction of the 5,000-seater national cathedral.
He argued that Ghana was a secular state and, therefore, it was wrong for the state to be “excessively entangled in any religion or religious practice”
But the Supreme Court, in a unanimous decision on Wednesday, held that the decision of the state had not breached any constitutional provision. Read Full Story
